Our Commitment

The Latino Professionals in Aerospace (LPA) is committed to our community by providing opportunities in aviation. LPA has established key partnerships with both aviation and non-aviation related organizations and companies that allow us to make scholarships available to a diverse group of recipients. These scholarships help recipients further their careers in aviation related fields.

Announcing our 2025 Scholarships made possible by additional funding from our partners. Applications open November 1 and close November 15.

Available opportunities:

Aerospace Degree Scholarship, for students pursuing any aerospace field including engineering, business, maintenance, ATC, dispatch, or technology. Flight training excluded.

Aviation Technician (A&P Certification) Scholarship, for students enrolled in or accepted to an FAA recognized A&P program in the United States or its territories.

United Aviate Academy Scholarship, for applicants conditionally accepted to or currently enrolled at the United Aviate Academy.

Eligibility:

  1. You must be an active Latino Professionals in Aerospace member through December 31 2025.

  2. You must be at least 17 years old (18 for United Aviate Academy).

  3. You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited United States institution.

  4. Scholarship amounts vary. Funds are sent directly to the certified educational institution.

Get ready by confirming your LPA membership is active and in the right tier, updating your one page resume, and reaching out early to the two people who will write your recommendation letters.
